Description

·         Coordinates the order placement and delivery of parts, materials, supplies and equipment for the Erwin facility.  Ensures products are delivered on time and according to requisition requirements.  Maintains training records in accordance with records management procedures and practices.  Issues training reports, announcements and other information as requested.

·         Completes and processes purchase requisitions for parts and equipment needed.

·         Tracks all incoming orders and helps with production work flow.

·         Receives orders.

·         Completes all required quality assurance training for reciept inspections.

·         Ships parts and materials.

·         Collects, compiles and resolves shipments, inspections, permits, and fees through invoices, bills of lading, packing slips, etc.

·         Works with A/P and Procurement personnel to ensure smooth, timely purchases, receipts and associated documentation.

·         Performs various administrative tasks.

·         Tracks, trends, and makes notifications for required training courses and qualifications to ensure compliance.

·         Works closely with managers making recommendations regarding necessary training activities for their employees.

·         Schedules and coordinates staff participation in training events and issues assignments in accordance with position requirements.

·         Maintains training and qualification program records.

·         Coordinates and assists in the development of training schedules.

·         Monitors the training database and its use to ensure employee training and qualification information is accurate and current.

·         Orders books, course materials and supplies.

·         Creates and/or issues certificates to students who successfully complete courses.

·         Manages hard copy and electronic personnel training records.

·         Ability to use hands to accomplish tasks as assigned

·         Ability to sit, walk, and twist at the waist

·         Ability to effectively communicate; speaking and hearing clear English; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location

·         Basic computer skills

·         Ability to work inside an office

·         Ability to work alone and work with others; perform under deadline pressure

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

·         Ability to work as a team member

·         Detailed knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office products and their use (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

·         Basic knowledge of Oracle Applications preferred

·         Ability to lift boxes of training materials, records and vendor supplies

·         Ability to be forklift operator qualified preferred

Minimum Qualifications and Years of Experience

Education

·         High School diploma or GED

·         Associate’s degree preferred

 

Certifications

·         None required

 

Required Experience

·         A minimum of 5 years previous customer service experience

·         5 years previous experience in a training environment

 

Preferred Experience

·         None
