Description

·         Performs all work safely, ensuring that safety is an integral element embodied in equipment design and specification.

·         Develops documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

·         Works with the Facilites, Maintenance and Engineering team in the development of 2-D/3-D design models and orthographic drawings, intelligent piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) documentation, mechanical design and assembly prints, facility layouts and Civil, Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) system diagrams and drawings.

·         Performs facility and process system field verification to ensure drawings are updated to reflect changing conditions in compliance with configuration management procedures.

·         Maintains orderly control of all plotted, scanned and filed drawings.

·         Maintains Configuration Management records and documentation.

·         Assists & Supports Facilities and Engineering with projects as needed.

·         Works in a multidisciplinary team.

·         Selects hardware and materials as required by the Project, with guidance from engineers.

·         Develops and maintains red-line documents (ECN’s, FCN’s etc).

·         Performs checking of design documents produced by peers, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

·         Works under limited supervision.

·         Exercise some degree of independent judgment.

·         Works under the close guidance of Facilities/Maintenance Manager and Engineering Lead.

·         Experience using ASME Y14 standards, or similar, is a plus.

·         Advanced CAD skills

·         Strong communication skills

·         Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

·         Ability to carry up to 25 pounds; handle and reach below shoulder

·         Ability to use hands to accomplish tasks as assigned

·         Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb and bend/stoop

·         Ability to effectively communicate; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location

·         Ability to see close and distance and basic colors/shades

·         Ability to work inside an office, outside and in extreme temperatures

·         Ability to work with moving objects/hazardous machines and slippery/uneven walking surfaces

·         Ability to work alone and work with others

·         Ability to drive a vehicle and travel overnight; perform under deadline pressure

Minimum Qualifications and Years of Experience

Education

·         Associate's degree required in CAD or related subject

 

Certifications

·         None required

 

Required Experience

·         Minimum of 5 years experience
