· Works with finance, operational and administrative organizations to ensure that the business is operating efficiently and profitably through the use of analytical tools and the interpretation of operational metrics. Ensures that budgets, forecasts and financial results are presented in conformity with corporate direction and policy. · Works with business groups to develop budgets/forecasts and to review actual performance. · Provides general business advice to operations counterparts. · Serves as a liaison between accounting and operations. · Reviews and interprets complex financial data received from financial and operations leaders. · Prepares detailed monthly analysis of overhead functions that contain meaningful analysis of costs and variances to budgets/forecasts. · Establishes and maintains a tracking system for efficient monthly analysis. · Prepares departmental budgets and forecasts. Provides analysis of departmental results of operations. · Performs other duties as assigned. |
