Job Description/Tasks/Responsibilities
· Supports the Treasurer in the development and implementation of Treasury and Corporate strategies and the day-to-day management of Treasury activities. Ensures policies and procedures meet corporate objectives and needs, and regulatory body requirements are met. Manages compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements to lenders. Acts as corporate liaison in conducting business with outside financial institutions. Reports to Corporate Treasurer.
· Supports the Treasurer in the development and implementation of Treasury and Corporate strategies.
· Assists Treasurer in day-to-day management of Treasury operations including supervision and development of Treasury staff.
· Manages corporate debt covenant compliance, certification, scenario analyses and proforma financial ratios.
· Manages the generation of performance bonds, letters of credit and parent company guarantees.
· Develops and maintains the Levels of Authority (LOA) controls system.
· Oversees timely approval and cash disbursements to vendors.
· Assists in managing and budgeting the Company’s cash and credit resources including utilization of resources for financial assurance obligations and approval of Corporate cash transactions.
· Assists in managing operating relationships with the company’s banks, trustees and financial institutions including Treasury operations, cash deposits and other products.
· Assists in implementing and managing the Company’s hedging strategies (interest rate, foreign exchange (FX), commodities as appropriate).
· Develops and implements Treasury business systems, processes, policies and procedures including compliance of established systems with regulations and best practices.
· Provides financial support to Business Units’ commercial obligations and their operating contracts.
· Provides finance support and contributes to the Company’s new business initiatives including development of business case financial analysis, mergers and acquisition analysis, and direct involvement with bids and proposals for new work.
· Member of the Retirement Plan Committee that oversees the administrations of the Company’s 401(k) Plan.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
